The devastation is just so visible now, makes me so sad. So many people’s homes and businesses just gone and I imagine the rebuild will take years. Not just because of the number of buildings destroyed–over 2,000–but also because the labor and supplies constraints for a small island. Maui population is what, 60-70,000?

But they are ohana and we will be with them.
