New short story from Vernor Vinge: Synthetic Serendipity. Part of a larger tale that will be his next novel (Rainbows End), set in 2020, that features a society running on augmented reality. Vinge’s Peace War and Realtime series were both favorites so I’ll be looking for this (can’t find a release date just yet). [via /.]
