Another excellent Easy Rawlins novel from Walter Mosley, first published in 1996, A Little Yellow Dog is set in November 1963 when Easy is two years into his job as maintenance supervisor at Sojourner Truth Junior High School in Los Angeles. Trouble, as always, has no problem finding our man and coming in at all angles.
