Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, Iraq’s information minister, told that font of Islamic truth al-Jazeera satellite television: “The work of inspection teams in Iraq had been completed.” He claimed that U.N. weapons inspectors had completed their work in the country before they left four years ago and so there was no need for them to return.
